Worcester Women Gets 3 Years Probation For Possession Of Cocaine

In Worcester Superior Court on Monday, Alison N. Edwards was sentenced to 3 years of supervised probation.

Edwards was arrested in July of 2017 and charged with trafficking in cocaine (36 grams or more, less than 100 grams), possession to distribute cocaine and two counts of distribute class B drug.

On Monday in a plea deal, Edwards plead guilty to lesser charges of four counts of possession of class B drug.

On each count Edwards got three years of probation concurrent with each other.

In addition to the three years of probation, Judge Paul D. Wilson also ordered Edwards remain drug and alcohol free,have a substance abuse evaluation and get treatment as well as random screens.
