Brockton Murder Suspect Arrested In Worcester

On Sunday, State Police arrested Queito Miranda, 29-years-old, of Brockton in connection with a fatal shooting in Brockton Friday night.

Brockton Police on Friday night just before 11:30 p.m. responded to multiple reports of a shooting in the area of 47 Highland St. When the first responding officers arrived in the area they located Earl Thomas, 32, of New Bedford in a parking lot with gunshot wounds.

Police say that Thomas was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, where he was pronounced dead.

Miranda was arrested by Worcester Police on one count of murder just before 1:30 p.m. on Sunday and was transported to the Brockton police station.

Miranda will be arraigned on Tuesday in Brockton District Court
