Victim Shot On Ellington Street in Dorchester Has Succumbed To His Injuries

On Monday, Boston Police confirmed that John Ramsey, 25, of Dorchester who was shot on August 2, has succumbed to his injuries.

At around 9:12 p.m. on August 2, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a report of a person shot in the area of 15 Ellington Street in Dorchester.

Upon arrival officers located Mr. Ramsey who had been shot and he was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

Boston Police Homicide Detectives are actively investigating this homicide and anyone with any information should call (617) 343-4470.
