On Saturday at approximately 4:52 p.m. officers with the Worcester Police Department assigned to the Operations Division (First Half) responded to a report of an armed carjacking at the Gulf Gas Station in the upper Lincoln section of the city.
The suspect in this incident pointed a firearm at the victim who was a female, then stole the vehicle and fled the area.
A short time later, at approximately 4:59 p.m. officers assigned to the Operations Division were dispatched to an armed robbery at the Honey Farms at 304 Belmont Street.
Officers determined that the suspect from the carjacking at the Gulf Gas Station, was the same suspect in the armed robbery at the Honey Farms.
The vehicle from the carjacking was described as being a red Hyundai Sonata and was located in the area of 3 Knight Street unoccupied. The vehicle was towed to Worcester Police Headquarters to be processed by CSU.
The suspect was believed to be a heavy set light skinned Black or Hispanic male wearing a WB Mason hat and had a tattoo on his left hand.
