
At approximately 6:00 AM, Tuesday, August 23, 2022 Massachusetts State Police Worcester County Detective Unit arrested Fabiano Sanabria, 41, of Worcester. Sanabria was charged with possession to distribute class B drug.
With assistance from the State Police STOP Team, State Police Fugitive Unit and the Worcester Police Vice Squad a search warrant was executed at 120 Austin Street, Apt. 2. This is the known residence of Sanabria, the target of the search warrant.
The State Police STOP Team made entry into 120 Austin Street and approached apartment 2. When at the front door of apartment 2 they knocked/announced their presence and an adult female answered the door.
Sanabria was located in a bedroom at the rear of the apartment. He was read his Miranda rights and stated that he did understand them.
During a search of Sanabria’s bedroom State Police recovered 3 individually wrapped plastic bags containing a white chunk substance consistent with Crack cocaine; 1 box of sandwich bags commonly used to package narcotics; 1 digital scale commonly used to weigh narcotics, 1 bottle of Mannitol commonly used to mix in with narcotics; 1 fanny pack with low denomination US currency commonly used in Street-level narcotics deals; and documents identifying Sanabria.
Prior to this search, during an investigation, investigators made 3 separate controlled purchases of narcotics from Sanabria.
The charges against Sanabria are a formal accusation of criminal conduct, not evidence.
Sanabria is presumed innocent unless convicted through due process of law.
