At City Hall in Worcester Thursday, five Worcester police officers were promoted to sergeants and one sergeant was promoted to lieutenant.
Sgt. Joseph Albano will be promoted to lieutenant while the newest crop of Worcester Police Department sergeants includes Miguel Diaz; George Adams; Steven Bonczek; Angel Miranda; and David Rojas.
They have all accepted the challenges ahead of them, and continue to serve the citizens of Worcester with the utmost professionalism.
