At approximately 5:56 a.m. on Sunday morning, officers with the Boston Police Department assigned to District B-3 responded to the area of 1601 Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan for a report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Officers located a second victim a short time later. The second victim is adult male victim and was transported by Boston EMS to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
